THRESHOLDS OF CONTROL. Bodies and Memories in the Age of Technocracy

Simondi Gallery, Turin, Italy. 19.09.2025 - 22.11.2025

EVA FRAPICCINI, RANA HAMADEH, PINAR ÖĞRENCI

The show critiques technocracy by examining how algorithmic systems shape subjectivity and expose inequalities, with works by Eva Frapiccini, Rana Hamadeh, and Pınar Öğrenci proposing complexity, doubt, and imagination as forms of resistance.

Through a suspended and critical atmosphere, Eva Frapiccini, Rana Hamadeh, and Pınar Öğrenci challenge technocratic rationality and the inequalities shaping contemporary society. Rejecting technofeudal control over subjectivity and desire, their works embrace complexity, abstraction, and imagination as acts of resistance against normalization and automated exploitation.
